Baa

So my webmaster tools (they tell me different stats about my blog) haven't been working for a couple months and I finally decided to investigate why, and then fix it.

I then checked out the top search queries and found one of them was "Extreme sheep herding".

This left me with two questions:

1. What the hell is that?

2. Why does my blog come up for that search?

Well to answer the first question:

And now there is an actual reason for my blog to come up in the search.

That's one of my favorite search terms ever. Sheep herding would be so-so, but EXTREME sheep herding is spectacular!

I guess they got bored :P

My favourite search term from yesterday was ‘sex with downward curved erection’. I get all sorts at my blog – I can’t imagine why.

That was so awesome until I saw that it was an ad for Samsung. Oh well, it still looked great.

Extreme indeed!
@Simon: Haha!

That's some serious herding!!

Hadn't heard of extreme sheep hearding, but it doesn't surprise me, I suspect there is an extreme sport for every type of livestock. Extreme cow surfing, for example.

Fantastic stuff! If I get a dog, I'll build it one of those little LED battery pack things to walk it at night. Unless it seems really really embarrassed by it...

LOL! I actually found that incredibly entertaining. How neat! I have an intense urge to show it to someone now.

I need to set up my blog on google analytics, because I'd be interested to see what kind of search words people use to find me.

Simon- hmmm it's not like you would have anything at all like that on your blog...although, my top search for the longest time was "glass in my ass"

Tennyson- at least the shepherds did it of their own accord and presented it to samsumg.

Sandy- yes, now we know what extreme means.

Sami- Its pretty crazy...though in another video they say that they cheated a bit digitally with the legs for the giant sheep

mo.- cow surfing is a real thing too! But that's because goats are weird.

Eric- my dog tries to bite lights, so don't walk past my house ;) Oh and they make frisbees with LEDs

Hollyrocks- thanks! I have to admit I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes... I just love it because I never would of thought something like that could exist! And some of the searches are totally random. My top search right now is procrastination.

Hahaha... Epic! Those poor running Mona Lisa sheep :) It is pretty amazing! It takes sheep herding to a whole new level.
I wonder if I could be a shepherdess in my spare time?

I used to use blogger. what stats are you using? I went with google analytics. Well, i'm off to herd sheep... extremely.

Valerie said...

Dutch donut girl- sure you could, and you could get Eric to make LED suits for your sheep!

CD- these are from just the google webmaster tools...they collect this info whether you ask or not. I have a 3rd party site collecting info that's a little more useful

I LOVE this video! It makes me crack up every time. And, it is pretty amazing...although, I really think these sheep herders must have been bored out of their minds to come up with this.

p.s. I use sitemap and it works really well.

Next thing you know it'll be a legitimate sport with a Mountain Dew Tournament.

; )

Young mom/wife- I agree- though I wold imagine being a shepherd is a little boring. Thanks for the tip- I'll check it out.

Soda and Candy- lol. All the young hip snowboarders and bmx bikers are going to take up shepherding lol
