A bead tribute to MJ

So I know it's been a while since the passing of Michael Jackson, but you can't rush 'ahrt'. So here I give you several quasi-failed attempts to make a MJ face bead.

I think I have perfected my technique and am going to give it another go. Wish me luck and I'll keep you posted!

I LOVE IT!! They are all so natural in their own way :) Can't wait to see more!

Thanks Sami- I haven't done a face before so an experiment more than anything else. Sunday I should have some time to put in glass what's in my head.

These are so lifelike that they're a little scary. How did you get the collapsing nose effect so perfectly on the first two?

Definitely Etsy these little guys. I'm predicting they'll sell like hotcakes.

(Too soon?)

They are very nice. I cannot tell if they are black or white, which is what MJ would have wanted I think. lol

i can definitely see the resemblance!

the girl- the nose was actually the easy part. I think I've got the rest down good enough os now I can start to make some sellable ones once I get my kiln

Eric- lol, thanks. its a off-white (as in the color of snow not people) that isn't usually found on people's skin.

Al- thanks, it's a fine line between making a skeleton head and a person's head.

awesome Val! The melted face look is a good representation of his 'evolution'.

I actually think the one on the left (as you're looking at the picture) is fantastic! I love it! and as MJ would say:
"Just BEAD It, BEAD It, BEAD It, BEAD It
No One Wants To Bea-D-efeated" (sorry I couldn't help the cornyness)

Critty- Thanks!

Krysten- thanks again! lol

Amber- lol- you're right. I didn't think of that till now

Tirader- I agree with the one on the left- just I figured out how to do more subtle eyebrows since then and his eye got all wonky. P.S. I'm still laughing at "just bead it"! You are so clever!

Tellie- thanks- I'm getting a rather big ego here!
